The firm had a well-designed site with twelve pages. Every page described the firm. None answered a question. All new business came from referral or paid search, and cost per enquiry was climbing every quarter.
How organic visibility improved
A firm ranking for its own name and nothing else. We rebuilt the site around the questions its clients were already asking, and organic enquiries replaced paid ones.
We mapped 340 search questions across corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing, then grouped them into a page structure a non-specialist could navigate. We fixed the technical basics: speed, indexing, internal links, structured data. Then we published: one pillar page and four supporting explainers per service line, each reviewed by a partner before it went live.
Within nine months the firm ranked on page one for the terms that mattered, and the paid budget was cut by more than half without losing enquiry volume.
Same problem, different firm?
If this looks like your situation, the first call is a diagnosis rather than a pitch.
